UACII was launched in Kampala during mid 2018.
The goal is to be the recognised professional Association for the MICE Industry of Uganda, ... 'the voice of MICE'. Membership of UACII comprises qualified, specialist MICE companies that include hotels, venues, Professional Conference Organizers, Destination Management Companies and other service providers.
To lead, facilitate and develop Uganda's business tourism (MICE) industry competitiveness and commercial sustainability. We engage with the Uganda Convention Bureau (UCB), our members and other key stakeholders in the industry to ensure growth of MICE business in Uganda.
UACII to be acknowledged as the Association that represents Uganda's best-in-class MICE professionals nationally, regionally, continentally and internationally.

To set and accredit professional standards in Uganda's MICE industry.
To contribute to the marketing of Uganda as a MICE destination.
To improve the quality of the MICE industry throughout Uganda.
To promote the accreditation of MICE industry professionals locally through UACII membership and globally via for example SITE / IAPCO and other global industry bodies.
To promote professional development, certification and industry relationships with other local (for example UTA / AUTO / UHOA) and international (for example SITE/ MPI/EIC/ICCA/ PCMA) industry Associations.
To promote a platform for members to exchange innovative ideas, experiences and do business.
To create visibility and recognition of UACII both locally and internationally.
